tangent <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |NEW --- Comment #14 from tangent <[email protected]> --- Thanks Eric for the guidance towards HAVE_OPENSSL_INIT_CRYPTO in apu_config.hw The CMake build of apr-util on Windows simply copies that file to apu_config.h; it doesn't contain that definition, nor indeed any reference to OpenSSL. The CMakeList.txt file simply contains the following: # "COPYONLY" just because anything else isn't implemented ;) CONFIGURE_FILE(include/private/apu_config.hw ${PROJECT_BINARY_DIR}/apu_config.h COPYONLY) With CMake, I believe the Windows build focuses on apu.hwc, which gets 'configured' to apu.h. CONFIGURE_FILE(include/apu.hwc ${PROJECT_BINARY_DIR}/apu.h) Back with APR-UTIL release 1.6.3, I picked up on the APU_HAVE_OPENSSL entry in the apu.hwc file being 0 rather than 1, namely: #ifndef APU_DSO_MODULE_BUILD #define APU_HAVE_OPENSSL 0 #define APU_HAVE_NSS 0 #endif which I believe for CMake parsing should be: #ifndef APU_DSO_MODULE_BUILD #define APU_HAVE_OPENSSL @apu_have_openssl_10@ #define APU_HAVE_NSS 0 #endif and since OpenSSL is the only crypto option supported by the CMake build, I added the following apu_have_openssl_10 entry to the CMakeLists.txt file: IF(APU_HAVE_CRYPTO) SET(apu_have_crypto_10 1) SET(apu_have_openssl_10 1) ENDIF() This duly gets picked up in the configuration of apu.h, and solved the mod_session_crypto problem we were seeing at the time. What I've only just realised is this 'new' bug is the same problem, which is only occurring because my build script wasn't applying this change to APR-UTIL 1.6.5. With this change also applied to APR-UTIL 1.6.5, the mod_session_crypto crash problem with HTTPD 2.4.69 goes away. So presume the correct way to request these changes be applied to APR-UTIL, is log an entry at [email protected]? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
