I've had an embedded VIA motherboard that worked very well upto 4.4. Now
I've upgraded to 4.7 and it doesn't seems to like the sata controller.
If I boot directly to the vga consoe, it will freeze at the
"wdc_atapi_intr: warning: reading only 14 of 18 bytes". But if I boot
from the serial console, it seems to time out and keep going. But it
doesn't detects the CD then. I've included the dmesg from the serial
boot since it seems more complete. I'm open to try previous versions to
see when it started failing.
