weird, it was a bunch of nulls. ~> hexdump /var/db/pkg/rsu-firmware-1.1p0/+CONTENTS 0000000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 * 0000250 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000259 i deleted it and re-installed the package and it seems to be fine now.
