sendbug ate my report, so here's it again.
Today i noticed that the sound volume changed a little bit when playing two
files simultaniously (amd64 snapshot from 24.1., dmesg below). I tried
multiple variations of players and files (mplayer and vlc, and mp3, wav and
mp4 sound/video files), but the issue was always the same. I tested with
my headphones only.
So here's what i did:
first, i played an mp3 file with mplayer, and then started a video with
vlc. Immediately after the video startet, the overall volume dropped a bit
(not much, but i could notice it). After closing one of the players, the
volume got restored. As i said, i tried with multiple players and files,
and also checked the output of mixerctl(1) for each combination, but the
settings were never changed.
