For now (with uptime up 1 day, 38 mins) and with my patched kernel, the
problem doesn't come back (the patch would make the kernel issue a warning
and discard the value, instead of using it [and reboot]).

The really high temperature value reported could be another problem. As
I said, I already saw this kind of high-temperature (and reboot) problem
at boot time.

jcs@, if you want I can build a kernel with your patch in order to
check the reproductibility. I assume the diff is
