Congrats, you ran into the elusive cups update bug. I'd love to fix that one, but I haven't figured it out yet. The vomit you're seeing is indeed a dump with lots of information. I'm still clueless though. :( As for fixing your machine, run pkg_check, then pkg_add -u will work again.
