Dear all,

recently we did fresh install of OpenBSD 6.3 on existing Supermicro
server (which was running OpenBSD 5.7 for ages, no hardware changes)
with recent patches installed using syspatch and found nasty issue
with /etc/netstart script when added description to interface and run
sh /etc/netstart vlan10 it result in OS freeze (no response in
console, no kernel panic) and only reboot is helping us.

We tried to run sh /etc/netstart -n vlan10 and then run output
commands one by one, but this not resulting in OS freeze, where sh
/netstart vlan10 always result in this.

Example hostname.vlan10 file:

cat /etc/hostname.vlan10
vnetid 10 parent ix0
inet 213.xx.xxx.xx/29

I was not able to reproduce issue with CARP interface or physical
interfaces.

I want to help to find root cause of this issue (which was not
happening to us in 5.7 for sure).

could you try on 6.4 or even -current? Maybe it's fixed.

Also, without a full sendbug message it's not really helpfull for
developpers. Use sendbug as root to generate a bug report with
usefull informations attached.
