What is problem: The problem is my laptop is getting hot just by starting OpenBSD. When I use GNU/Linux while idle my temperatures are in 35-37 degree Celsius range, and when I use OpenBSD even though it uses less resources while idle my temperatures are in 50-60 degree Celsius range.
How this problem occurred: I just installed OpenBSD and started using it nothing installed. What I tried so far: I tried using apmd but it didn't work I tried using sysctl to lower clocks to 800Mhz yet I think it only displays that and doesn't set clock to 800Mhz I tried these things in both 6.8-release 6.9-current and it happened on both.
