Looks like some bad interaction between cwm and conky. (It
works fine with evilwm and twm.)
For cwm, put this in your ~/.cwmrc:
ignore Conky
How to reproduce:
maybe run conky while in cwm, check htop/top/ps etc.
How to fix: unknown
