Interesting! - thanks for the insight.
That does fit with it being so intermittent! - it was fine for over 2 weeks,
until last night when it happened 3 times - then was fine for about 12 hours
over night - then this morning it's crashed about 4 times in relatively quick
succession.
The strange thing is, I swapped to this APU2 unit and power supply because the
previous one I used as this router would do this - but it was a hard lockup
with no response, requiring a power cycle - but on the same intermittent
nature. The crash to the dbb> prompt was new after re-installing on this box.
The identical unit/psu in the same case has been fine and is running as one of
my firewalls - it's been up 62 days, since upgrading to 7.6.
The problem one seems to have got way more frequent after updating to 7.6 - but
that could be coincidence if it is indeed a hardware issue.
I have got both a different apu2 and an Intel Celeron box here I can/will try
and see what happens.
Thanks!
Ian
