do you have other devices plugged to other USB ports?
I have similar issue with my TP-link [1] it works fine until I plug
usb-hub with keyboard and mouse attached. after plugging usb-hub with
keyboard and mouse network performance starts to get worse and worse until
it stops completely. I have not completely root cause it yet but the
USB-hub seems to be a trigger in my case.
I know, I'm not helpful much here but still it would be good to know
if how much similar those issues are.
