I agree. We can ship new firmwares with ' ' replaced with either '-' or '_'. OTOH, we can also attempt to deal with spaces if we encounter them from old goo, since this is a removal operation (disk consumption etc) Now do ' or " or other weird characters. Maybe we should filter for this somewhere..
