1. Windows doesn't normally create that folder on the ESP.
2. The ESP is not auto-mounted under Windows.
3. That folder is safe to delete in any case.

That said, if this is happening, it sounds like a defect in installboot.

Providing the error message would be helpful. Noting this as a harmless
quirk is the wrong approach. It may be an error in string parsing perhaps
due to the length of the filename or presence of spaces (a wild guess).
