oh, no, no, absolutely not. I did not meant that the macro templating way of 
implementing this was "horrible". Infact, I would argue that its a better way 
since it has less code to maintain.

I might have misunderstood the issue a little tho. There isn't much need of a 
rework I think, reverting back to this e8d59ca6af8991e23309bddd9b200f06c0e9d4a7 
commit, and then applying changes that came later on while ignoring ralf's 
commits, and then at the end making sure all tests pass would suffice.

I will do just that in this MR and in !929, I will add the 
RTEMS_INVALID_ADDRESS improvement.
