Amar Takhar commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/docs/rtems-docs/-/issues/132#note_140120 Yeah for sure I agree that guidance on making it useful is good but again that ends up being relative but length enforcement would make people think if they hit it. I checked the last 1,000 commits and here are the top 25 entries by line length. So 20 seems too low... this is just the subject taking what's before the `:` .. kinda long but I guess the cutoff should be 40.. ``` count | length ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 180 24 140 36 113 29 113 17 108 32 108 13 105 35 105 33 96 34 86 37 84 28 80 31 79 19 79 16 78 11 74 20 71 30 70 21 65 12 62 39 61 27 59 22 58 38 57 18 55 26 ``` Here are the ones above 40: ``` 48 42 45 40 43 41 39 45 35 43 33 44 27 46 19 47 10 52 8 50 8 49 7 48 6 74 6 51 5 55 5 54 4 60 4 56 3 69 3 65 3 64 3 63 3 61 3 59 3 53 2 58 2 57 1 68 1 62 ``` -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/docs/rtems-docs/-/issues/132#note_140120 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
