Line 64 of control/make/sanity-rules.gmk is:

$(ERROR_FILE) $(WARNING_FILE) $(MESSAGE_FILE):

These macros are defined in j2se/make/common/Defs.gmk if I recall
correctly.

If you are using CYGWIN 'make', it's probably the C:/ path issue
with CYGWIN make (3.80 or 3.81?).

Hello people,
I am trying to build the JDK on Windows XP. Unfortunately, when I issue the make sanity command, all I get as an answer is: sanity-rules.gmk:64: *** multiple target patterns. Stop. Do you have any ideas how this error might come up? Thank you JS.
