I took some part in testing the VS2005 Express to build the JDK. So far
there's no any major problem present except the following:

However, this RFE has a very simple workaround provided. Please try it
and tell us about the results.

I have vague recollection that usage of free MS compiler was evaluated n
the past and there were some complications.

procedure to use free tools only) even without access to mercurial.
