What I mean is that you will need to port the JDK Makefiles and source code. You will need to find the (many) places where the code assumes that gcc is used on linux or that microsoft's compiler is used on windows. Also, don't expect to be able to run any 3rd-party native code in your new JDK via JNI, unless it has also been compiled using intel cc. Martin
