The configure script must be checked in. Until now, we have used different autoconf versions (2.61 or later), depending on which platform we have update the configure script. The mac has one version, my workstation another etc etc. You are right that in the future we will have to standardize on a specific version, and even mandate a commit check in hg for it. //Fredrik
