Solaris jdk6 build. gcc version check fails

Hi all,

I have weird error:

ERROR: The Solaris GCC compiler version must be 2.95.2.
       You are using the following compiler version: 2.95
       The compiler was obtained from the following location:
           /java/devtools/i586/gnucc/bin/
       Please change your compiler.

it's weird because I have exactly the same version is required:
-bash-3.2$ /java/devtools/i586/gnucc/bin/gcc --version
2.95.2

Any idea how to fix it?

I use
-bash-3.2$ gmake --version
GNU Make 3.82

and trying to build 6u43.
