to verify they are all supposed to be the same thing.

I don't think there is a bug a this, I only ran into it because of a
patch-in-the-works that changes code generated to gensrc. I can include
the change in my patch or I can create a separate bug. I do agree that
further investigation is required, if nothing else, this part of the
build needs clean-up.
