This suggested wording, along with Stuarts other additions to the README, look
fine. I think this should be pushed, and the other issues handled separately.

Guys, thanks for the review and comments. I've just pushed a change to README-builds.html that adopts a modified version of David's suggestion, the essence of which is changing "Do not use..." to "JDK 8 developers should not use...."
