I ran through all the jtreg font tests I could see in the JDK. I also ran jdk/test/java/awt/font/TextLayout/KernCrash.java and jdk/test/java/awt/font/TextLayout/KerningLeak.java manually and they both passed. (KernCrash just opened up a window with some text displayed and no errors. I closed it after a few minutes). But maybe I just don't have the right fonts? KernCrash wanted Bistream Vera (Vera.ttf); I passed it the path to the system-install Vera.tff.
