Hello Dave,
The category named by David refers to https://bugs.openjdk.java.net,
which is the actual bug database for OpenJDK. It requires an OpenJDK
login to submit bugs. I'm not familiar with the public bug submission
system, but I would expect it to be rather limited.

TFT David ,
I'm afraid to say that I wouldn't have asked if a choice so obvious was
available to me on/at http://bugreport.java.com/bugreport/submit_intro.do -
all the of choices that I see are language/platform i.e.
non-infrastructure/build, related.

Hello all,
Pray tell, having found what I consider a fairly generic defect against
the
jdk8 build system and ins the absense of a build category, which
'Product/Category' should I select ?
infrastructure -> build

I only ask because I believe that I've found a defect/quirk in the jdk8
repo (I've not yet had chance to play with jdk9) and want to raise a
defect
and submit its' resolution for review.
TIA & rgds ,
