Hi folks,

This bug report goes all the way back to 2008. :-) So instead of just letting it go on to it's second decade of existence, I went about and fixed it.

Ummm but now it's called Oracle Developer Studio.

Yes, we are aware of that, so ideally we should rename it all over.

Or maybe we shouldn't. If so, we should also rename "macosx" to "macos".

Alternatively, we can accept that the best we can do is to have a name that's not ambiguous, clearly states what it is about, is not misleading (that was one of the main complaints about the old "sparcWorks"; it was not about sparc, it was about solaris). And hope that marketing let us keep our good names in sync with the marketing names used, as long as possible.

This bug was about unification however, and now it's at least unified. One could also note that the version we are currently using (12.4) was still called Solaris Studio. The rename happened in later versions.

By now, not many references to sparcWorks exists anymore, so this is almost trivial.

I've verified by grep that no more "sparcworks" are present in the repo, neither in hotspot nor anywhere else.
