Of course I thought about doing just that :-) But it usually is considered bad form to do this, especially since it involves modifying security settings on the box.
This particular change allows certain swf files permission to operate out of flash player security sandbox (details are in the JIRA ticket) I don't know how secure this box is, so I am being extra careful with these kind of changes.
