git pulls on H3 for precommit-hadoop-build are broken due to a rebase that
failed for some reason. (I'm also not sure why Jenkins job isn't giving us a
fresh git clone every time but I guess that's a different discussion).
In any case, I've added code to test-patch to clean this up in the future, but
I need some manual assistance to clear the error for now.
