NERO will begin upgrades to our Optical infrastructure on July 31st. The plan involves no impact software upgrades the first night, then upgrades to the optical hardware as scheduled below. Most NERO customers will not be impacted as work will be staged to allow redundant circuits to transition traffic to alternate paths. Customers with impacted optical circuits will be contacted directly.
