Libby also age ten, won this year at her school science fair. We (yeah, I helped) went for the effect of temperature on crystalization. She used dissolved sugar. At the end of the experiment some of the well grown samples of latent rock candy were able to be eaten by her classmates. Can't beat interactive projects. Only took a week for the good stuff to grow. You can't keep their attention for more than ten days.
