Dunno about Debian, but for Ubuntu, you just have to remove a file
created by nvidia in /etc/modprobe.d/ and run sudo update-initramfs -u
in order to be able to switch with a procedure a esay as set
Driver=nouveau in /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf and run sudo restart
bumblebeed.
Also, the group problem is probably specific to Debian.
