Nvidia has recently posted a "certified" driver for Linux 64bit.
NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-310.32.run

I have reviewed the Nvidia installation doc here:
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/310.32/README/installdriver.html

I'm currently running BumbleBee 3.0.1 with Nvidia driver version 304.64. I
have checked and 310.32 is not on the usual Linux repositories hence, these
key statements would not appear to accomplish anything.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
$ sudo apt-get install bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia linux-headers-generic

I thought to ask what approach I should use to upgrade the Nvidia driver?

My configuration:
System: Vizio CN15-A5
OS: Ubuntu 12.1, 3.5.0-23-generic x86_64 gnu/linux
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT 640M LE

Thank You!
