We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
 
CUSTOMS SUPERINTENDENT
 
Requirements:
1) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
2) Minimum 5 years experiences as a Customs/import superintendent in 
multinational company, preferably in mining, engineering, construction, and oil 
& gas companies.
3) Having experience in managing the compliance of importation procedures.
4) Familiar with Customs EDI system and customs clearance processing.
5) Experienced and familiar to handle the importation, shipping, and logistics.
6) Familiar with the preparing and processing of Masterlist.
7) Having experience and familiar to handle the customs audit by customs 
auditor to resolve the customs issues.
 
General Responsibilities:
1) Coordinate and handle all the importation activities based on customs 
regulations / laws and procedures.

2)Plan, verify and determine the method of transportation (air or sea) of the 
imported goods and advise the estimate freight cost to user (requisitioner).
3) Coordinate the arrangement of transportation of the imported goods, 
preparing import schedule and shipping planning.
4) Coordinate the arrangement of the import / shipping document base on customs 
law such as proforma invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading/ AWB by liaise with 
the supplier and forwarder/ shipping agent.
5) Control, monitor and identify all movement/ transhipment of the imported 
goods from the supplier to final destination (site) to ensure all movement are 
runs well and tractable for to be advised the status to the user/requisitioner.
6) Coordinate and monitor the customs clearance processing and delivery of the 
goods to site.
7) Plan and handling the preparation and submission of Masterlist in order to 
propose for achieve import duty exemption.
8) Manage, control and monitor the movement of equipment ex Masterlist facility
9) Organize the movement / disposal permit of equipment ex Masterlist facility
10) Plan and handle the preparation and submission the application of temporary 
import permit.
11) Handling all customs examinations by external auditors & resolve the 
customs issues.
12) Perform other duties as requested.
