Underwiter
& Junior Underwriter
(Jakarta
based)
To be successful in this position you will:
§
Examine documents to determine degree of risk from
such factors as applicant financial standing and value and condition of
property;
§
Able to determine risk classification based on
product guidelines and standard/substandard risks and eligibility;
§
Evaluate possibility of losses due to catastrophe
or excessive insurance;
§
Review company records to determine amount of
insurance in force on single risk or group of closely related risks;
§
Decrease value of policy when risk is substandard
and specify applicable endorsements or apply rating to ensure safe profitable
distribution of risks, using reference materials.
Requirements:
§
Female/Male, maximum 30 years old;
§
Min Diploma Degree and major in Insurance Academy;
§
Minimum experience 2 years (Jr Underwriter) and 5 years (Underwriter)
in General Insurance;
§
Have understanding about risk management;
§
Preferably holding A3IK certification;
§
Computer Literate (Word & Excel);
§
Proficient in English both oral & written;
