The top link on this page describes a rather complex (and still unresolved) dispute involving TCS standards as they apply to our largest payor, Vision Service Plan, and its [proposed] continued use of a proprietary DDE system for eligibility, claims, and eyewear orders under HIPAA. The 7 suggested "talking points" for NCVHS, however, could potentially impact covered entities outside of vision care.
