Ken,

164.505(e)(2)(i)lists required elements of a business associate
contract, which includes sub-paragraph (D) requiring that a business
associate "ensure any agency, including a subcontractor, to whom it
provides protected health information received from, or created or
received by the business associate on behalf of, the covered entity
agrees to the same restrictions and conditions that apply to the
business associate with respect to such information"

Good Afternoon

Does anyone have any information on "Secondary Business Associates
Agreements" or "Sub Business Associates Agreements"? Someone referenced
them and I cannot find them in the legislation. Thanks.
