*Job Title: Oracle Supply Chain Management **Location: Woburn,MA* *Duration: 3+ months* * * ** *Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management resource that can help a key client with some inventory optimization. **Some of the required attributes are:* · The client is presently live in Production on various Oracle Applications including but not limited to Discrete Manufacturing, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, Financials, Order Management, and Warehouse Management. · The client is presently seeking an assessment to implement Inventory Optimization to satisfy additional business requirements related to Inventory Management. · The Client needs assistance in management and implementation options to support concepts like: o K-Factoring o Enforcing Service Level Constraints o “What inventory carrying costs are required to achieve a service level based on demand variability/forecast inaccuracy?” o Enforcing Inventory Budget Constraints o “What service level can be achieved when enforcing a respective inventory budget level based on demand variability/forecast inaccuracy?” o Establishment of Service Level Constraints o Establishment of Inventory Budget Level Constraints at Plan and Category levels o Safety Stock Smoothing o Ability to Establish User Defined Safety Stock Levels o Ability to Analyze Multiple Scenarios to Support Decision Making o Leverage Use of Key Performance Indicators · These are a subset of the requirements for the engagement. The candidate would need to be able to clearly articulate how related Oracle functionality works and/or would be implemented, potential conflicts with overall business goals and actual execution within the confines of a standard Oracle implementation and assist with guideing the client and technical staff to define requirements for customization and extensions to support the business needs.
