*9 Months Plus* * * *NOTE: The highlighted are key skill sets for this position.* *Description* Manage high-profile corporate strategic projects. Manage the full systems development life cycle of assigned projects to ensure comprehensive, timely and high quality outcomes of assigned project. A major emphasis will be the ability to run projects that would be Data Warehouse, Analytical and Operational Reporting based. Conduct quality assurance reviews of project. Identify and engage all key stakeholders, contributors and business and technical resources that must participate in a projects and ensure that contributors are motivated to complete assigned tasks within the parameters of the project plan. Create project plans using tools that facilitate task listing, assignments, tracking and modification to ensure business requirements are completely satisfied, on time and within budget. Produce executive reports to keep management apprised of project status, major issues, scope changes, resource changes and milestone achievements or misses. Report project financials monthly. Maintain accurate resource profiles for project in the client PPM tool. Facilitate regular project meetings and follow up with team members as required to focus on business and operational issues or technical issues. Document, assign and monitor all projects issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to project progress. Provide regular feedback to management of project team performance. Solve tactical day-to-day issues, as well as "big picture" issues. Coordinate large cross-functional teams. Manage relationship with partners, including Service Levels, software releases, maintenance updates and issue tracking and resolution Skills & Experience Project & Portfolio Management tool training and experience a plus. PMP certification is a bonus but not required. Demonstrated project management skills. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in working with large scale, cross-functional, technology projects in a Project Manager role. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. The position requires strong knowledge and experience with all project life-cycle phases. Demonstrated understanding of business practices and processes, with ability to clearly document and communicate business concepts. Demonstrated understanding of Data Warehousing, Analytical and Operational Reporting, and Forecasting solutions. Hands-on proficiency with word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), Visio, Microsoft Project, Internet browsers, and e-mail. General knowledge of technologies.
