Minimum Requirements:
5 Experience in the Information Technology industry
5 yrs Exp with Full SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) involvement from
analysis and planning to development and deployment.
4 yrs Exp with Working and developing applications on the Java EE 5/6
application development platform for enterprise class projects.
4 yrs Exp with Excellent technical problem solving skills and programming
ability in JAVA
3 yrs Exp with Coding languages and environments including but not limited
to Java, J2EE, Java EE 5/6, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (JavaServer
Pages / Stored Procedures), JSF/Struts (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts
Framework), Adobe Flex, XML (eXtensible Markup Language), Spring, Hibernate
and Oracle
3 yrs Exp with Development experience with implementing applications
involving WebSphere Portal Server, WAS (WebSphere Application Server), JSP
(Java Servlets), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), Java
Portlets, EJB, JDBC (Java DataBase Connectivity), SQL (Structured Query
Language), and JNDI (Java Naming and Directory Interface).
3 yrs Exp with Strong understanding and knowledge of the WebSphere/Java EE
architecture, EJB, UML (Unified Modeling Language), Patterns/Frameworks,
JDBC/ODBC (Oracle DataBase Connectivity), UML modeling & OOD
(Object-Oriented Design / Development) skills, and JAVA EE 5/6 integration
points with external or third party products.
3 yrs Exp with Strong understanding of the MVC (Model View Controller)
pattern or the STRUTS and JSF frameworks.
2 yrs Exp with Experience with WebSphere, RAD (Rational Application
Development suite), and Oracle..
2 yrs Exp with Object modeling and design experience is essential.
2 yrs Exp with Knowledge of best practices in the areas of application
design, performance, scalability and maintainability is also required.
2 yrs Exp with Web Services development experience (e.g. XML, SOAP (Simple
Object Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Services Description Language), and UDDI
(Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration).
Preferences:
1+ Experience in Adobe Flex
2+ Database modeling, design and management skills including developing data
access web services using SOA/ESB concepts.
Strong Excellent oral and written communication skills
StrongFamiliarity or knowledge of Rational tools
StrongFamiliarity or knowledge of Mercury ITG
