*Position: C++ Developer* *Location: Boca Raton,, FL (20 minutes North of Fort Lauderdale.)* *Duration: long term contract (1-2 years plus)* *Overall process is the following:* - Must score at an advanced level on a technical C++ assessment as well as a Unix Assessment. - Must conduct a 1.5 hour technical phone screen with the manager and 2 leads. - Must complete a face to face interview with the client. This is going to be a 4+ hour long interview with intense technical discussion and white board sessions Please make sure any candidates are open to doing the face to face. - Must have great communication skills and be able to verify all info on the resume in great detail. This will be the most technical interview they have completed so please ensure they are solid candidates. *Here is the job description: please let me know if you have anyone available that would be a good fit.* - Developing both internal and external based *web services (remote procedure calls) using C++* to view data access layer of core applications. - Consultant will be responsible for developing the web services in C++, but manager is open to them having prior experience developing web services using other tools as long as they are Sr. C++ Developers overall. * * * * *Required Skills (needed to successfully complete responsibilities):* - Must have 2 plus years of recent experience as a *Sr. C++, OO Developer *. Sr. Level developer who has done a variety of *web based application development.* ** - 2 plus years development experience in the *middle tier*, preferably with some *backend* experience. ** - Must have a solid grasp on *XML and developing applications that have a high volume data transaction* based service. - Candidates need to have some Web Services *(Remote Procedure Calls, SOAP, OR REST interfaces)*.
