Responsibility will also potentially involve other standard based certification such as WiFi certification *Required Experience:* 5-6 years experience working in the* wireless industry* is desired. Previous experience with managing* Formal Type Approval (FTA) of WWAN products* is required with strong emphases on GCF/PTCRB. *Required Knowledge: * Practical knowledge of* GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSPA/LTE physical layer* and upper layer protocols and* RF necessary* to debug product issues are required. Previous experience working with* embedded systems* is strongly desired. Knowledge of Qualcomm logging tools is desired. *Education:* BSEE *Special Requirement: * This position will require traveling overseas to test houses to complete the certification activities of projects. Also, domestic travel is required to test houses within the United States. Must be willing to work overtime when needed to complete the certification activity of projects prior to product launch.
