*Sr. OBIEE Developer* * * *Location: Mountain View* *Duration: Long term Contract* *Start Date: ASAP* *Primary Responsibilities:* · Working with business partners, lead requirements gathering and analysis effort · Design and document solutions to be implemented in OBIEE · Facilitate design reviews and drive resolution of issues/gaps · Develop solutions on OBIEE platform with a focus on RPD and reporting layers · Manage data level security and administration of OBIEE · Provide 3rd level engineering support for OBIEE application, debugging issues, developing solutions, and deploying to the production environment · Manage multiple user development environment (MUD) including code review and migrations · Drive QA testing and data validation with engineering and business teams *Qualifications:* · 8+ years in IT industry with 4-6 years OBIEE experience · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field · Sound functional experience in OBIEE with strong understanding of Siebel data model · Extensive experience with OBIEE Administration tool (RPD) and Presentation Services (Web Catalog) · Detailed understanding of BI apps (Sales, Marketing, Service, and Call Center) · Extensive experience with design of physical, business, and presentation layers · Experience in developing dimensional hierarchies with drill down, aggregate tables, time series functions, and rank and shares functionality · Experience in presentation services including complex Answers reports/dashboards which include drill down, multiple views, charts, variables, selectors, and filters · Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling · Working experience with MUD (multiple user development) environment · Strong understanding and experience with security implementations and components (data and object level) · Exposure in Informatica and preconfigured mappings used for supporting OBIEE ETL process · Understanding of caching, iBots, and usage tracking · Exposure in Unix and Shell Scripting · Understanding of Linux and ability to debug issues in different OBIEE server components. · Strong SQL skills required - PL/SQL a plus · Very strong communication skills (verbal and written) -- * Thanks and Regards, Vinaya Kumar Sr. Resourcing Specialist Systel Inc.
