*Duration: 6+ months Contract* Requirements: • Strong communication skills a must (verbal, written and presentation) • 10+ yrs Experience as a Data analyst/reporting analyst . 10+ years of Industry experience with an emphasis on ETL . Multiple lifecycle project experience in developing ETL solutions . Experience in managing multiple concurrent, complex projects . Deep understanding of ETL concepts, standards, and best practices • 5-7 Yrs experience with reporting, data analysis, plsql, sql • Strong experience in data analysis techniques, tools, and procedures • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people using strong written and oral communication skills • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills • Experience with Oracle applications a plus Responsibilities: Re-design of the existing ODS Architecture to support “best practice” ODS. Capturing requirements and creating downstream application interfaces, including Sales BI, Marketing, EDW Redesign of the existing EDW/Bookings Datamart into a best practice datamart architecture. Designing incremental update processes ODS/EDW and all other systems. Determining and designing a data-level change tracking process Documenting and maintaining the Business Data Dictionary / Source-Target Mappings which contains all the core ETL logic across the various systems. Creation of logic to handly dirty data and exceptions Experience in maintaining ETL guidelines and guiding principles. Experience in researching, selecting from existing and emerging technologies the option best fitting business and warehouse strategic needs. Experience in cataloging and sharing results related to current vs. future DW architecture states.
