Duties and responsibilities: •Design, program, develop, analyze and implement database applications and database objects. •Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications. Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines. •Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implements are understood by all parties. •Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects •Develop Oracle forms and reports •Develop database procedures and packages •Develop UNIX shell scripts. •Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PLSQL tuning methodologies. Required skills: •BS or MS in Computer science or related area •Strong PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle database development, including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages; •Must have 5+ years of development experience in Oracle forms and reports; 5+ years Oracle Financial •Strong UNIX experience; should be very comfortable in writing shell scripts •.Net, Informatica, PERL, or Java will be a big plus •Experience with brokerage/financial industry is a must •Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Duties and responsibilities: · Design, program, develop, analyze and implement database applications and database objects. · Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications.
