In 6-8 months work on development of new reports in the Cognos reporting application. Job Description: This position will be responsible for developing and testing Business Objects reports for the Mobility Construction and Engineering Program Office team. Responsibilities include: · • Fielding report requests from user groups and decomposing requests into written requirements · • Development of reports, scorecards, and executive dashboards · • Reconciling large quantities of data quickly with a high degree of accuracy · • Testing reports for accuracy · • Assisting in issue resolution and communications as needed Qualifications: · • Experience interfacing with internal user groups to gather requirements · • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. · • Knowledge of wireless industry preferred · • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse applications. · • Strong Knowledge in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) · • Technical hands-on expertise using Business Objects XIR2 (Web Intelligence and Infoview) · • Expertise in performance tuning SQL queries and ETL processes required · • Expertise in Crystal Reporting and Xcelsius dashboard development · • Design, development, and coding with ORACLE 10g · • Experience in Cognos and SQL Server 2008 a plus · • Experience in SharePoint development a plus · • An enthusiastic and project-oriented team player with solid communication skills and the ability to develop creative solutions for challenging client needs.
