Job Title: SQL Server DBA* *Location: Richmond,CA* *Duration: 6+ Months contract with extensions* Qualifications: • Must have previous experience as SQL Server DBA Strong working experience in implementing change control processes. Strong working knowledge of SQL administration, including failover, clustering, and performance tuning Experience in implementing backup and recovery tasks Minimum of 8 years professional IT experience required, of which at least 5 should be as a DBA MS SQL server DBA certification would be a plus Must have previous experience in implementing DTS and ETL programs Must have previous experience in data warehouse data modeling Familiarity with dimensional modeling techniques, such as star schema Familiarity with data staging modeling Must be able to provide good database design and documentation. Must have good understanding of processes and should be able to multitask.
