This role will be part of the desktop engineering team responsible to architect, design and implement solutions for client technologies. This includes formally designing and project managing large migrations and new technology efforts in addition to being a senior technical resource, providing day to day packaging and 3rd Level Support. We are a global firm and must address domestic and global needs. * * * *The client technologies include Microsoft desktops/laptops/Citrix servers (desired)/peripheral devices/software, PDA's, etc. The team also engineers tools and software for client technologies such as anti-virus, Microsoft Office, Visio, support tools and procedures, software packaging, and software distribution. You must have strong hands on experience designing the Windows and Citrix (desired) operating systems to host a variety of domestic and global applications with optimum performance. You will need to package/script and use automation to manage a large number of PC Clients and Citrix servers. Strong knowledge of SMS/SCCM is desired.
