Position: Network Engineer(Juniper) Location: Boston, MA or Richmond, VA Length: 12+ months Interview Process: 1 phone interview and 1 face to face at either location The employee will work with the Internet and Directory Services Group, a national organization responsible for providing boundary security and directory services to the client’s lines of business and 12 regional offices. The employee will work on a system-wide project, collaborating with other national entities and security experts to deploy secure user access into network and server infrastructure. Experience with the following in a mission critical (24 x 7) environment is required: * Juniper SSL Gateway * Juniper Firewall * Routing technology * Network Design The applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills, project management/organizational and planning skills, and strong customer service skills. The applicant must be able to work independently, with peers and with a cross-functional team. Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, a Bachelor’s degree preferably in an IT field and/or 7 years of related experience. Relevant certifications, licensing and/or registration that would be nice to have include: CISSP, ISSEP, CCDP, CCSP, PMP). Minimal travel may be required, as well as after-hours support for implementation and troubleshooting. This position will include work on Sundays as needed to support off-hours change requests.
