*(local or nearby- f2f interview)* Responsibilities: This associate would provide assistance to the mainframe application area through consultation / support / best practices / training to help determine the best solutions for optimizing mainframe applications. He/she would engage in activities with the application development teams in order to help them achieve the desired optimization results. Using their expertise in tools, this associate would use these tools to determine which applications / components to optimize (i.e., Enterprise View, MICS reports, Chargeback Reports), tools to determine how best to optimize the application / components (i.e., freeze frame), tools determine the results that are achieved from the optimization, and tools to assure that applications / components remain optimized going forward. This knowledge would be shared with the application development areas so they can become self-sufficient with these tools. He/she would also work as a conduit to help determine how Mainframe System Software and Mainframe Hardware initiatives would affect the application areas and help determine the application development effort necessary to provide an inclusive cost/benefit analysis.
