Role : Oracle DBA Location : Boston MA Duration : 6 + months * *Responsibilities *Provide Oracle DBMS and PLSQL expertise to development teams. Provides beeper support on a 24x7 basis. Provide support for weekend releases and maintenance windows. Responsible for performance tuning, backups, database enhancements, installations and upgrades, technical initiatives. Work with on and offshore support teams to accomplish technical efforts in support of the business needs. Implements and reinforces corporate data security and confidentiality policies on DBMS Acts as a liaison with business technology teams. Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service. Coordinate and work with infrastructure teams for change control and deployment. Provide Oracle Database and query optimization and recovery. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Plan, deploy and administer disaster recovery infrastructure.
