SKILLS… Interviewing TOMORROW and CONFIRMING --HOT REQUIREMENT -- Job Title: ETL / DataStage Lead Location: Providence, RI Duration: 6+ months Contract 7+ Years of strong versatile experience in managing large scale ETL Datastage Platforms and architecting technical solutions for custom and packaged products across Retail, commercial and Investment banking verticals. Should have played one of the following project Delivery Roles which include technical lead, team lead, application architect, enterprise ETL architect, data modeler, Datastage administrator, systems engineer, programmer & analyst and systems programmer. Technical Expertise Required: Operating Systems: Unix (UTS/580, HP-UX), SUN Solaris 2.4, AIX, SUN OS 5.4, Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista. DataStage V7.2.1, InfoSphere V8.1 & 8.5 and iWay Databases: Oracle , MS-SQL Server 2005, Informix, Teradata and DB2 Experience with InfoSphere suite v8.1 or higher, Business Glossary, DataStage, FastTrack, Information Analyzer, Information Service Director, Metadata Server, Metadata Workbench and Quality Stage. Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, Shell scripts and utilities in Teradata like MLoad, FLoad and BTEQ. DB2, Oracle and Teradata ODBC and Data Direct DB connections. Experience with DBs. Working knowledge with SQL. Experience in Performance Tuning in Teradata. Should have very good knowledge of ETL process and DataWarehousing concepts and experience in development Projects. Experience in loading high volume data and performance tuning for Enterprise Data Warehouses. Excellent understanding of Data warehousing concepts, Star schema, Snow-Flake schema. Experience in using scheduling tools like Autosys, CA7, JCL Hands on experience in Designing Datastage job and end-end implementation. Expertise in identifying the performance related bottle-necks in Data stage jobs. Activities include: Understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows environments i.e. can perform administration tasks as needed. Experience in identifying set of standards for configuration settings for technology environment, performance management; optimization of disk space and memory allocations. Minimum exp of 5 years IBM Websphere Datastage and Teradata. Responsible to deliver high performance ETL jobs and Teradata Scripts. Has to have more than one implementations and should have the Ability to handle Multi vendor environment. Should be able to support end-end implementation and should be able to communicate Work with business to understand source data extract requirements.
